Government Program

Canadian Dental Care Plan CDCP

Westbram Dental accepts the CDCP — eligible patients can receive dental care at reduced or no cost.

The Program

What is the CDCP?

Who It's For

A federal program for eligible Canadians — including seniors, people with disabilities, and children — who do not have private dental insurance.

How It Works

Apply through the Government of Canada. Sun Life Financial administers the plan and issues your coverage confirmation with a start date.

Coverage

Coverage ranges from 40% to 100% based on your adjusted family net income. Copayments may apply depending on your income bracket.

Eligibility

Seniors 65+

Canadian residents aged 65 and over who meet income and insurance requirements.

Disability Tax Credit

Adults who hold a valid federal Disability Tax Credit certificate.

Children Under 18

Children under the age of 18 who meet the residency and income criteria.

Additional Requirements — all must apply:

  • Canadian resident
  • No private dental insurance coverage
